StreamState

Health of a remote video or screen-share stream, delivered to the listener set with RTCStream.setOnStreamStateChangedListener.

Only video and share streams are watched — audio never reports a state. The freeze and stuck values come from the receive-side stats poll; ACTIVE and ENDED come from the server resuming or closing the stream.

Entries

FREEZE_DETECTED

The decoder's freeze counter grew since the last stats sample — the picture has stopped moving.

FREEZE_RESOLVED

Frames have flowed again for five seconds after a freeze. Fires once per freeze episode.

ACTIVE

The server resumed the stream, so frames are expected again.

ENDED

The server closed the stream. Nothing more arrives on it; drop the view.

STUCK

Nothing has arrived for five seconds — the receive bitrate is flat zero. Reported at most once per five-second window, so a permanently dead track does not spam the listener.
