CodecChangeInfo

Why the video you are sending dropped to VP8, delivered via RoomEventListener.onCodecChanged.

A remote participant told the server it cannot decode the codec your camera is publishing, so the SDK republished the camera as VP8. The event fires once VP8 is being sent, so the codec it names is the one in use.

It fires only while the camera is actually publishing the rejected codec, and not at all when createRoom was given codecSwitchEnabled = false. A local encoder that stops producing frames triggers the same VP8 rebuild but reports VideoSDKError.ERROR_VIDEO_PRODUCE_CODEC_NOT_SUPPORTED (3045) on onError instead of this event.
