Changes the language this participant receives translations in. Only this device is affected; everyone else keeps the language they chose.

Takes effect once the server echoes the change back on RoomEventListener.onTranslationLanguageChanged; until then RoomEventListener.onTranslationText keeps delivering the old language.

Parameters

language

the target language code, in the form the translation service expects.

Throws

code 4044 (CHANGE_TRANSLATION_LANGUAGE_FAILED) when the server refuses the change, for example before startTranslation has started translation.
