send
Broadcasts a text message to every other participant.
Lower-level than PubSub.publish: there is no topic, no persistence and no replay for late joiners — the payload is delivered to whoever is in the room when it is sent. Use pubSub for anything that needs a topic or history.
A failed send throws: 3035 / 3065 outside the room, 3066 in a mode that cannot send, 3072 (ERROR_PAYLOAD_TOO_LARGE) over the 15 KiB limit, 3048 (ERROR_MEDIA_NOT_READY) with no usable transport, 3079 when the channel never opens, and 3070 (ERROR_SEND_FAILED) for a data-channel fault. 3035, 3079 and 3070 also reach RoomEventListener.onError.
Parameters
true (the default) retransmits until delivered and keeps ordering; false sends fire-and-forget, trading delivery for latency on a lossy link
Broadcasts a binary payload to every other participant.
Text and binary are distinct frame types on the wire, so a receiver sees this as binary rather than as a string — see send for the text form, for how reliable behaves and for how a failed send is reported.
