fun setParticipantKey(participantId: String, key: String?)

Sets, rotates or removes one participant's E2EE key, including mid-call.

Ignored while a shared key is set. The key lasts for the current room only: every per-participant key is cleared when the room is left, so set them again after each Room.join. A reconnect inside the same room keeps them.

Parameters

participantId

the participant whose key changes.

key

the new key, or null to drop it: this device then stops decrypting that participant until a new key is set.

Throws

code 3073 (ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER) if no provider was set with setKeyProvider.
