enableCam method

Future<void> enableCam()

Enables the participant’s camera.

  • Calling this method requests the participant to enable their camera. The participant will first receive a Events.cameraRequested event. Once the request is accepted, the camera device is enabled.

  • After the camera is enabled, all participants in the room will receive a Events.streamEnabled event with the corresponding video RTCStream object.

Returns

  • A Future<void> that completes once the native SDK accepts the request, or throws a VideoSDKError carrying its code and name.
