Pricing is based on agent session minutes - the time your AI agent spends actively in a session deployed on VideoSDK Cloud.

Third-Party Cloud Deployment

If you deploy your agent on a third-party cloud (not VideoSDK Cloud), you are only charged for communication transport:

These communication transport charges are already included when the agent is deployed on VideoSDK Cloud. You do not pay them separately in that case.

AI Voice Agent

What are "Agent Session Minutes"?
  • Agent Session Minutes: The total time your AI agent spends actively in a session when deployed on VideoSDK Cloud.
  • Example: If your agent handles a 10-minute voice session, that's 10 agent session minutes.
What's the difference between VideoSDK Cloud and Third-Party Cloud deployment?
  • VideoSDK Cloud Deployment:

    • You pay for agent session minutes based on type (voice-only or video + voice)
    • Communication transport costs are included
  • Third-Party Cloud Deployment:

    • You pay only for communication transport (voice, video, or SIP)
    • No agent session minute charges
How is pricing calculated? Can you provide an example?

Example: Voice-only agent on VideoSDK Cloud

  • Agent handles 20 sessions
  • Average session duration: 5 minutes
  • Total agent session minutes: 20 × 5 = 100 minutes
  • Cost: 100 minutes × $0.015 = $1.50

Example: Video + voice agent on VideoSDK Cloud

  • Agent handles 10 video sessions
  • Average session duration: 8 minutes
  • Total agent session minutes: 10 × 8 = 80 minutes
  • Cost: 80 minutes × $0.030 = $2.40
What happens if I exceed my agent deployment limit?
  • Free Plan: Limited to 1 deployed agent
  • Pay-As-You-Go: Limited to 2 deployed agents
  • Enterprise: Unlimited agents

If you need more agents, you can upgrade your plan or contact our sales team.

What happens if I exceed my concurrent session limit?
  • Free Plan: Maximum 5 concurrent sessions
  • Pay-As-You-Go: Maximum 20 concurrent sessions
  • Enterprise: Unlimited concurrent sessions

Additional session requests beyond your limit may be queued or rejected depending on your configuration.


Invoice & Billing

Free vs. Paid Accounts
  • Free Account: Default upon signup. Includes limits on agents and concurrent sessions.
  • Paid Account: Activated when you add a credit card. You are charged based on actual agent session minutes used.
When are invoices generated?
  • Invoices are generated on the 2nd or 3rd of each month.
  • Auto-charge is attempted within 24 hours.
  • If payment fails, services may be suspended after the due date (9th/10th).
How do I get a volume discount?
  • If your usage is consistently high, contact our sales team for volume discounts.
