This helps meet regional data protection requirements and enhances user experience by addressing geographical network limitations.

How it works

When geo-fencing is configured, all users attempting to join a session will be routed to the designated geographic region, even if their physical location is closer to another region.

Considerations

• Network Quality: If a user’s location differs significantly from the chosen region, the network quality between these locations may be poor, potentially affecting audio and video quality.
• Compliance Use Case: Avoid using geofencing unless your specific scenario requires regional compliance or data isolation.
