Recordings

You can record a VideoSDK meeting in five ways, depending on what you need to capture. Each type is documented on its own page, which shows how to start and stop the recording and manage the output files.

Recording type	What it captures
Room	The entire meeting, with all participants composed into a single video file. This is the most common option.
Participant	A single participant on their own.
Track	A single media track from a participant: audio, video, or screen share.
Composite	A server-side mix of the specific participants you select, rendered into one file.
Merge	The audio of selected participants combined into a single two-channel (stereo) file.
